Who is the Almighty Allah (swt)

His description:

He is the ONE and only Creator. His best description is found in the Qur'an chapter 112 " Surat Al-Iklaas".

"" Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him."" 112:1- 4

In the Qudsi Hadith, Allah (swt) says: " I am indeed Allah, there is no god but Me; whoever affirms My Unity enters My fortress, and whoever enters My fortress is safe from My punishment." Hadith 38

Was he seen before?:

No body ever saw Allah (swt), our Earthly bodies can't withstand Allah's might and greatness. Prophet Moses (pbuh) talked to Him directly without seeing Him as mentioned in the following verse:

" And when Moses came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, `My Lord, show Thyself to me that I may look at Thee.' ALLAH replied, `Thou shalt not see ME. But look at the mountain; and if it remains in its place, then thou shalt see ME.' And when his Lord manifested Himself on the mountain, HE broke it into pieces and Moses fell down unconscious. And when he recovered, he said, `Holy art Thou, I turn to thee and I am the first to believe." 7:143

In the Qudsi Hadith, Allah (swt) says: "O Moses, you cannot see Me ; no living person can see Me without dying. Nothing dry will see Me without crumbling, nothing damp will see Me without disintegrating. But the people of Paradise will see Me. These are the ones whose eyes do not die and whose bodies do not wither." Hadith 157

Will we be able to see Allah (swt)?:

According to the Qur'an and Hadith, Only the people of Paradise (believers in Allah alone) shall see Allah (swt) clearly and vividly. The people of Hellfire will not see him at all, simply because they didn't believe in him in the first place or they associated other gods with Allah.

People of Paradise shall see Allah (swt):

" Some faces on that day will be radiant, Looking eagerly towards their Lord; " 75:22-23

People of Hellfire shall be blocked from Seeing Allah (swt):

" Nay, they will, surely, be debarred from seeing their Lord on that day. Then, verily, they will burn in Hell, " 83:15-16

Allah's Names:

The beautiful names of Allah (swt)

His place:

"Allah is the Existence and the Non-existence before Him didn't exist "

Allah (swt) is everywhere but without a place.

Moses (pbuh) said: "O my Lord: Are You near, so that I may whisper to You, or far, so that I may call out to You? I feel the beauty of Your Voice but I see You not! Were are You?" Allah (swt) said: "I am Behind you and in front of you, on your right and on your left. O Moses, I am the Companion of My Servant when he remembers Me! I am with him when he calls Me! " Hadith 208

The mighty throne that Allah has, existed only as a symbol of Him being the King of the Kings.

His Power:

Just imagine this, Allah (swt) has created more than 100 Billion Star, each star has its own orbiting Planets. Now, this is only in our universe .......Can you imagine Allah's Power, Might, and Greatness.

" And they have not formed a true concept of the attributes of ALLAH. And the entire earth will be under HIS complete control on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens rolled up in HIS right hand. Glory be to HIM and exalted is HE above that which they associate with HIM. " 39:67

His power of creation resides in the word "BE", if He says to something Be, then it is.

" Verily, HIS command, when HE intends a thing, is only that HE says concerning it, `Be,' and it comes into being. " 36:82

Best words He likes:

Allah (swt) has made it clear in the Holy Qur'an that He is the One and Only God there is. the statement " La ilaha illa Allah ( there is no God but Allah ) " is the key for our salvation, and the only Passport to enter Paradise.

" ALLAH ! there is no god but HE; so in ALLAH let the believers put their trust." 64:13

His Mercy:

Allah (swt) is the most merciful there is. The Merciful and the most Gracious are two of His names, and there is a whole chapter in the Qur'an named the Gracious. Allah (swt) cares about us more than a mother to her newly born child.

" And your God is One God; there is no God but HE, the Gracious, the Merciful." 2:163

In the Qudsi Hadith, Allah (swt) says: "Indeed I am Allah, there is no god but Me. My Mercy precedes My Anger. Whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger, he shall have Paradise." Hadith 66

In the Qudsi Hadith, Allah (swt) says: "O son of Adam, as you worshipped Me and retained hope in Me and did not associate anyone with Me, I shall forgive you your sins. If you come to Me with heavens and earth full of sins, I shall meet you with an equal amount of forgiveness. I shall forgive you and I shall not be troubled." Hadith 138

Overall description:

(obtained from Sheik Kishik, and translated to the best of our knowledge).

" We are his slaves, and everything belongs to Him. From His wisdom comes Fate, and all creatures fall under his command. He has no partner and nothing/nobody resembles Him. Known of His Goodness, and described of His wealthy givens. He is known without a limit, and described without an end. He is the One not because of scarcity, and He Exists not because of weakness or limitations. Everything sustained by Him and belongs to Him, and everything prostrates to Him. He is the Pride of the innocent , and He is the riches of the poor. He is the Strength of the weak, and the Savior of the troubled. He is the One without others, and He exists without any necessity, and He lives forever with no ending. He arose and conquered ( the Infidels) and He hid and knew the concealed and secret. He is the Mighty King that never gets troubled by being asked of anything, or being gave everything. He hears Whomever speaks, and He knows the unspoken (hidden intentions). He provides the living their needs and whoever dies, returns back to Him.
