Surat Al-Mu'minun

Omar Ibn Al-Khattab said: "" We were sitting around the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and we heard the revelation close to his face and it sounded like "buzzing Bees". When the sound ended, the Messenger of Allah looked at us and then praised Allah and said: " O' Allah, increase and don't decrease upon us, dignify us and don't humiliate us, and be with us and not against us."

We said: " Hopefully it's good news O' Messenger of Allah? ". The Prophet (pbuh) said: " Just now, 11 verses have been revealed unto me, and whomever complied with them, Allah has guaranteed him " Al-Firdoos Al-A'ala ". The Prophet (pbuh) proceeded in reciting Surat Al-Mu'minoon.

"" Successful indeed are the believers, Who are humble in their Prayers, Who avoid vain talk; And who are prompt and regular in paying the Zakát (Alms), And who guard their chastity - Except from their wives or what their right hands possess, for then they are not to be blamed; But those, who seek anything beyond that are the transgressors - And who are watchful of their trusts and their covenants, And who are strict in the observance of their Prayers. These are the heirs, Who will inherit Paradise (Al-Firdoos). They will abide therein for ever. "" 23:1-11

When Allah(swt) created Paradise and ran its rivers and grew its trees, He said to Paradise: " Speak with my permission ". The Paradise said: " Successful indeed are the believers ".

The first 11 verses of Surat Al-Mu'minun describe the responsibilities of the Believers, and upon fulfilling such responsibilities, Allah (swt) has guaranteed them not just Heaven but "Al-Firdoos", which is the best and highest level and place in Heaven.

Allah (swt) has blessed the believers' hard work by saying:

"" Successful indeed are the believers ""

Allah (swt) has blessed the believers' humble Hearts by saying:

"" Who are humble in their Prayers ""

Allah (swt) has blessed the believers' tongue by saying:

"" Who avoid vain talk ""

Allah (swt) has blessed the believers' Money and spending by saying:

"" And who are prompt and regular in paying the Zakát (paying Alms) ""

Allah (swt) has blessed the believers' chastity by saying:

"" And who guard their chastity ""

Allah (swt) has blessed the believers' trusts and covenants by saying:

"" And who are watchful of their trusts and their covenants ""

"" And who are strict in the observance of their Prayers ""

Allah (swt) has blessed the believers' ultimate achievement by saying:

"" These are the heirs, Who will inherit Paradise (Al-Firdoos) ""

The Arabic Word "Qad" is used for affirmity, and when this word "Qad" enters a past tense sentence, it affirms and validate the action, as when the Imam calls for the prayer and says "Qad qamat Al-Salat", which means the prayer has commenced.
