Libyan Mad-Dog is back!

Just recently, the United Nations suspended the sanctions imposed on Libya in an attempt to force Libya to hand over two of its nationals suspected of involvement in the 1988 bombing of a PanAm airliner over Lockerbie in Scotland, which killed 270 people.

Libya estimated last year that the sanctions have caused more than 10,000 deaths because of the unavailability of medicines and cost the economy some $26.5 billion. Nevertheless, the country, the richest in North Africa but with a population of only 5.2 million, managed more or less to maintain its standard of living with its gross domestic product currently at around $7,000 per capita.

Moamer Kadhafi, the Libyan retarded leader who once called himself "the Desert Prophet," is still in power as the case with almost all Arab leaders. I quite remember when Kadhafi used to threaten the United States back in 1985. Ronald Regan once called him the "Mad-Dog," in reference that dogs only bark and seldom they attack. While Kadhafi was asleep, United States’ war planes bombed his tents, airports, and numerous key military buildings. Since then, the Kadhafi has been mute…...Typical cowardliness.

Anyway, my problem with this ignorant Kadhafi goes back to early seventies when he used to bad-mouth and publicaly insult our dear Prophet (pbuh) and his blessed followers "sahaba." This insanely man once wanted to remove the word "misr" from the holly Quran which refers to Egypt just because he had received criticism from Anwar Sadat, president of Egypt then. Then, Kadhafi went on calling Omar bin Al-Khattab the dictator.

I really don’t have much good to say about Kadhafi, but I do feel kind of disappointed from the people of Libya who tolerated this lunatic for thirty years, since 1969. Why can not the people of Libya remove such dictator from their sad history! The Libyan history is filled with greatness as with Omar Al-Muktaar who fought the Italians for more than two decades defending the Libyan identity. I am sure if the people of Libya would to walk up, the lunatic ruler wouldn’t last for minutes on the throne of Libya.
